Bristol Palin says to practice abstinence…

Bristol Palin [along with Hayden Panettiere] support the Candie’s Foundation town hall meeting on teen pregnancy prevention at TheTimesCenter on Wednesday, May 6 in New York City.

I never seem to buy into  statements that promote abstinence because they are usually after the fact that there was a “mistake.” Bristol went on to say –

“Regardless of what I did personally, I just think that abstinence is the only … 100 percent foolproof way to prevent pregnancy. It’s a hard choice, but it’s the safest choice and it’s the best choice.” –

Key word in her statement: It’s a hard choice.

Oh goodness! That sentence could have been left out to potentially make her statement a bit more convincing.

Well said, Bris.

I think it actually makes her statement more convincing. She’s owning up to the fact that it isn’t easy, but surely, in her opinion, the best way.

I see what you’re saying. But at the same time, it potentially increases the curiosity in the minds of those who don’t know. It being a hard choice – it must be damn good. She didn’t necessarily say anything wrong – just could have been left out. no beef 😉
