I’m sure many of you are familiar with Jessica Simpsons much talked about and might I add, criticised weight gain. This might have been the next best thing for her career as VH1 has picked her up for a reality TV show called, “The Price of Beauty.”
She will travel all over the world to meet everyday women. She will study the local fashions, dietary fads, and beauty regimes.
Jessica says: “I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful, but I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect. I am really looking forward to discovering how beauty is perceived in different cultures and participating in some of the crazy things people do to feel beautiful. I know we will all learn a lot on this journey and I am so excited that VH1 is coming along on what I’m sure will be a wild ride.”
When it comes to “knowing,” everyone seems to have it all figured out. But people rarely take into account that our “knowing” is a mere reflection of who we are and what we have experienced day in and day out. A problem with this is that we, as people, tend to generalize our own feelings and reflect it on the people in front of us. Then when they act differently from what we expected, we automatically get upset. Here is where I emphasize the importance of communication between any two parties. It is not safe to assume that what we believe to be wrong/right, hurtful/innocent, thoughtful/careless is in sync with the person in front of you. Keep in mind that everyone’s life experiences vary from person to person. Even from day to day. What you believe today, you may no longer believe tomorrow. If you intend to act on your feelings, it is important for these feelings to be expressed to those around you so that everyone is on the same page. After all, we’re only human…not mind readers, unfortunately.
Natalie says: Be clear about what you know and be aware of what others don’t.

So how many of you men out there think you have the charm to wow a women at first encounter?? I’m sure a lot of you seem to think you have just what it takes. Well, you know what I think? The majority of men these days are lacking that strictly platonic female friendship. Guys, c’mon…being friends with a women is the greatest insight you need to actually “wowing” the other women! I highly recommend you invest in a female friend. You will immediately see how your approach to women will change as well as your success rate! Most Women are looking for the classic guy – not the sleazy let me get in your pants guy. Then again – the latter will always have a small pool of women that are exceptions to the case! To each their own, right?
