OK, so I just got back from an invigorating workout and of course, my appetite is sky high – I usually end up eating a bad snack, which technically is alright given that the metabolism is burning every calorie you take in immediately after – BUT, my mom had bought a large pack of “Dannon Light&Fit Yogurt” and omg, I kid you not – it’s delicious. I’m not a big fan of yogurt, but this is hitting the spot. They have various flavors. I’m currently eating the Peach. It even has tiny bits of fresh peaches in it!! Very refreshing and highly recommended!
C’mon, how can you say no to a snack that satisfies the taste buds + healthy?

Last night I went to ilili Restaurant to celebrate a friends engagement! It was a really nice place – exceeded my expectations. Of course my company was spectac but to add to that enjoyment, the food was phenomenal. Being that I am Armenian, I’m no stranger to the Mediterranean Cuisine – especially that of the Lebanese. It was a Tuesday night so it wasn’t the most crowded of places, but the manager claimed its a full house on any other night. Would like to check this place out again.
Dishes I recommend:
Beef Kafta: Chicken Shish Taouk: Batata Harra [roasted potatoes]:Phoenician Fries [fav among many]: Labne

As we all know today was Mothers Day. In all seriousness, this day doesn’t feel any different than any other Monday-Sunday. If anything, my mother gets told I love you more on a regular basis than on this particular day! ha! Well anyway, my sister and I cooked a delicious lasagna dish with ricotta, meet, and eggplant with sprinkled mozzarella and of course topped with parmigiana with a side of salad. It really was delish! Afterwards, i went with my mother to get our nails done, but of course the nail salon was backed up for over an hour so we decided to go to the park for a walk. It was a gorgeous day and it was a time well spent. Reminisced about all the craziness and fun that took place in that park growing up. Many interesting memories, that’s for sure. My family and I then went over to my grandmothers for tummy filling deserts and more chatter!
All in all I feel very blessed to have such a beautiful, and loving family. To me, this day is should be no different than tomorrow. [corniness aside]
